Scott Parker's Burnley are set to host strugglers Coventry City at Turf Moor on Tuesday in their 17th match of the Championship season.
The Clarets enjoyed another victory on the weekend, defeating Bristol City 1-0 on Saturday, and they are fourth in the second tier with 30 points, while their opponents are 17th with 17 points and are yet to appoint a permanent manager after sacking Mark Robins on November 7.
We say: Burnley 1-1 Coventry City
Given Burnley's resilience at home this term, it is difficult to see them losing on Tuesday at Turf Moor.
However, the hosts have struggled for goals of late, and they come up against a Coventry side that have snatched valuable points against the division's best.

Hull City will be bidding to avoid a fourth straight defeat in the Championship when they continue their 2024-25 campaign with a home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.
The Tigers, who are 22nd in the Championship table, will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 defeat at Luton Town, while 15th-placed Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 with Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.
We say: Hull City 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday
Hull have drawn four of their eight home matches in the Championship this season, while Sheffield Wednesday have won just two of their seven on their travels.
It would not be a big surprise to see a victory either way here, but we believe that a tight match will finish all square.

Norwich vs. Plymouth (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

In a bottom-half clash at Carrow Road, home side Norwich City will play Plymouth Argyle in their 17th Championship game of the season on Tuesday.
The Canaries are in poor form and reside in 13th place with 19 points following their 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, two points and six places ahead of sixth-last Plymouth, who shared the spoils with Watford on Friday after drawing 2-2.
We say: Norwich City 2-1 Plymouth Argyle
Norwich are unlikely to keep a clean sheet given their poor defensive record, but it is difficult to see how Plymouth can prevent the Canaries from creating numerous chances in front of goal.
Rooney's side were somewhat fortunate last time out, and it would not be surprising if they succumbed to defeat on Tuesday.

High-flying Sheffield United will continue their quest for promotion when they host strugglers Oxford United at Bramall Lane on Tuesday in their 17th Championship outing.
The home team are third with 32 points, and their 2-2 draw with Coventry City on Saturday left them level on points from with the team's occupying the league's two automatic promotion spots at the top of the table, while the away side are 18th with 17 points after 16 matchweeks and lost 6-2 against Middlesbrough on November 23.
We say: Sheffield United 3-0 Oxford United
Sheffield United have been excellent defensively this term, and it is plausible that they keep another clean sheet against Oxford United.
The visitors have also been poor away from home, and the hosts should be considered strong favourites on Tuesday.

Two teams competing for a spot in the Championship playoff places will meet on Tuesday evening, as Watford host Bristol City at Vicarage Road for matchday 17 of the 2024-25 season.
The hosts are seventh in the table with 26 points, only outside the top six on goal difference, while the visitors are 10th in the standings with 22 points from 16 games.
We say: Watford 2-1 Bristol City
Both sides have made strong starts to the 2024-25 season, but the hosts have been formidable at home, yet to lose any of their seven league games, and we believe the hosts will extend that run with a win here.

Sunderland vs. West Brom (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

In a clash that could affect the race for the title and promotion, Sunderland are set to host West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday at the Stadium of Light in their 17th Championship fixture of the campaign.
The hosts are second in the table with 32 points and drew 1-1 draw with Millwall on Saturday, while the visitors are sixth with 26 points after 16 games and drew 2-2 with Norwich City on November 23.
We say: Sunderland 1-0 West Bromwich Albion
Despite West Brom scoring twice last time out, they have found difficulties in front of goal recently, and it would not be surprising if they failed to score once again.
However, Sunderland have struggled for victories in the past weeks and though the hosts will no doubt be buoyed by their home crowd, Tuesday's clash will likely be a close affair.
