Arsenal striker Joel Campbell is reportedly on the verge of signing for Palermo for a fee of £7.1m.

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has been left out of the club's matches so far this season, and has been training away from the first team. Swansea City made their ninth permanent signing of the summer yesterday, bringing in striker Botti Biabi from Falkirk. However, manager Garry Monk insists that the Scot's arrival is likely to be the final change to his squad this summer.

West Ham United have already been one of the busiest club's in the transfer window this summer, but it looks like they could be adding another striker, with reports suggesting that the Hammers have agreed personal terms with Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz. However, the two clubs are yet to agree a transfer fee for the Turkish international.

Former Newcastle United defender Davide Santon has been linked with a return to England with Watford and reports in Italy have also suggested that he is a target for Sampdoria, but his agent insists that he will be staying at Inter Milan this summer.

Staying in Spain, there are suggestions this afternoon that Sevilla are about to offer Grzegorz Krychowiak a new contract. That could well be a blow to Arsenal, who have been strongly linked with the midfielder recently.

AC Milan have reportedly opened talks with Sampdoria over the transfer of Roberto Soriano. The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign last term and it is believed he will cost the Rossoneri a transfer fee of €10m (£7m).

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has revealed that he would welcome striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to San Siro with "open arms". The Paris Saint-Germain ace, who left Milan in 2012, has been linked with a return to the Rossoneri for much of the summer.

Italian striker Mattia Destro has confirmed that he will join newly-promoted Serie A side Bologna from Roma. The 24-year-old, who had been linked with a move to Norwich City, had been expected to leave the Stadio Olimpico following the arrival of Edin Dzeko.

Sporting Lisbon's Spanish winger Diego Capel has completed a move to Serie A side Genoa for a fee which could rise to around £920,000. The 27-year-old had been linked with a move to a host of Premier League clubs, but has now committed his future to the Italian outfit.

NEW DEAL! Ipswich Town have confirmed that Freddie Sears has signed a new contract with the Championship club. The 25-year-old has agreed a deal that will see him stay with the Tractor Boys until 2019, with the option of an additional year.

Manchester City will be able to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne if they pay £57m, according to reports. The former Premier League champions have been linked with a move for the Belgian international all summer, although it is unclear whether a formal bid has been submitted.

Marseille winger Florian Thauvin has arrived in Tyneside ahead of a medical at Newcastle United, while Remy Cabella is going the other way, according to reports. Swansea City boss Gary Monk has insisted that none of his players will be leaving during the current transfer window, amid reports linking Everton with defender Ashley Williams. The Blues are said to be eyeing up the Wales international as a potential replacement for Chelsea target John Stones, but Monk says nothing short of an "astronomical" offer will even be considered.

Former Manchester United skipper Bryan Robson has given his seal of approval to the club's pursuit of Barcelona's Pedro. The ex-England skipper, who is now an ambassador for the Red Devils, believes that Louis van Gaal needs to recruit an additional striker urgently.
