Report: Arsenal striker Joel Campbell on verge of £7m Palermo move

Palermo are on the verge of signing Arsenal striker Joel Campbell, according to reports.

Arsenal striker Joel Campbell is on the verge of moving to Serie A club Palermo, according to reports.

The Metro claims that the Costa Rican is desperate for first-team football and is unlikely to feature in the Gunners starting XI next season.

Palermo are prepared to pay £7.1m for his services, with Arsene Wenger happy to allow the 23-year-old to leave the club.

Campbell made just four league appearances in four years for Arsenal, and recently spent time on loan at Villarreal.
