Ligue 1 side Angers have been knocked out of the Coupe de la Ligue after a 1-0 loss to lower-league opposition Tours.

Alexandre Letellier had to be alert on three occasions in the first half as Tours dominated in front of their supporters.

However, Letellier was helpless to prevent Luca Miracoli heading Tours in front eight minutes after the break after rising highest at a corner.

Angers sent on Gilles Sunu and Mathias Serin in a desperate attempt to find an equaliser, but Tours stood firm to progress to the last 16.
