Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has insisted that he is confident of completing more business before the transfer window closes in four days' time.
The Black Cats, who have drawn their opening two Premier League games this season, are said to be closing in on attacking midfielder Ricky Alvarez from Inter Milan.
Poyet fell short of confirming any done deals, but he told the Sunderland Echo: "We're moving, we're moving very fast because it's getting close. I'm confident we'll be doing something. You're going to be surprised."
Sunderland have also been extensively linked with Liverpool's Fabio Borini and former Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou.
