Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron believes that his side's clean sheet against Sunderland should be deemed a "positive" but he admits that he would have preferred three points.

Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron believes that the Potters' clean sheet against Sunderland should be taken as a "positive".

Tony Pulis's side saw out a goalless draw at the Britannia on Saturday but Cameron has claimed that he would have preferred to have grabbed the win over keeping a clean sheet.

"It's a positive from the game, but I'd sooner have two in the back of their net than us keep a clean sheet," Cameron told The Sentinel.

"We are both honest teams and don't give each other much space in behind or many opportunities. Tactically both teams were spot on with each other. They knew what we were going to do and we knew what they were going to do, sit back and kind of defend."

Stoke currently sit 13th in the league table.
