Sports Mole's Premier League Team of the Week

It was another thrilling weekend of Premier League action on Saturday and Sunday with 33 goals flying in at grounds across the country.

Chelsea kept up their unbeaten record at Arsenal, while Manchester United were beaten for the first time in 23 years by Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

Elsewhere, Manchester City did what champions do best and sneaked a narrow victory away from home and Liverpool were one of three teams to pick up their first wins of the season.

With all of that in mind, Sports Mole picks out the 11 players who left their mark.

Mark Schwarzer (Fulham)
His team may have gone down 2-1 to champions Manchester City, but the big Australian stopped it becoming a romp for the visitors at Craven Cottage.

Pablo Zabaleta (Man City)
Got forward at every available opportunity against Fulham and always provided a threat out wide.
Jan Vertonghen (Spurs)
His goal after 90 seconds got Tottenham up and running against Manchester United, but it was the Belgian's resistance in defence that caught the eye in what was an impressive victory at Old Trafford.
Phil Jagielka (Everton)
In a week that saw John Terry retire from England, no-nonsense Jagielka proved yet again against Southampton that there's no cause for alarm for the Three Lions.
Geoff Cameron (Stoke)
The American is quickly looking right at home in the Premier League and helped the Potters earn their first win of the season against Swansea.

Leon Osman (Everton)
The 31-year-old embodies all of the reasons why the Toffees are excelling this season - guts, humility and professionalism.
Paul Scholes (Man Utd)
On what was an otherwise disappointing day at Old Trafford against Spurs, the veteran midfielder's composure in the centre of the park was the one bright spark for United.
David Silva (Man City)
The Spaniard constantly drove at the heart of the Fulham defence as the champions ground out a 2-1 win in the capital.
Juan Mata (Chelsea)
The tricky midfielder gave the Blues plenty of attacking intent during what was an important win at Arsenal.

Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
Forget the rolling around and bad teeth, the Uruguayan showed once again how valuable he is to the Merseysiders with another hat-trick at Carrow Road.
Steven Fletcher (Sunderland)
Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill recently claimed that Fletcher was becoming the bargain of the season and you'd find it hard to argue after the Scot bagged his fifth goal in six games against Wigan.
