Swansea City loan Tom Carroll from Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Carroll moves to Swansea City on a season-long loan deal.

Swansea City have signed Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Carroll on a season-long loan deal.

Carroll has made 23 appearances for Spurs since he made his first-team debut in 2011, but he spent last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers.

The 22-year-old had been hoping to impress Mauricio Pochettino during pre-season, but it has been decided that the England Under-21 international will spend the campaign at the Liberty Stadium.

Carroll will be available to make his debut against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
