Tottenham Hotspur to launch £8m move for Federico Fazio?

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly bid £8m to secure the services of Sevilla defender Federico Fazio.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly sanctioned an £8m move for Sevilla defender Federico Fazio.

Signing another central defender before the transfer window closes is believed to be a priority for Pochettino, but Spurs have so far struggled to secure their targets.

A reported deal for Villareal's Mateo Musacchio appears to be off, with the two clubs rumoured to be struggling to agree a fee.

According to The Mirror, Spurs have turned their attention to Fazio, and would be willing to meet the release clause in the Argentine's contract.

Eric Dier and Ben Davies have been added to the defensive options at White Hart Lane this summer.
