Report: Tottenham Hotspur ready to offer Nacer Chadli to Southampton

Tottenham will use Nacer Chadli as part of a deal to bring Morgan Schneiderlin to White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to use Nacer Chadli as bait as they attempt to convince Southampton to sell Morgan Schneiderlin, according to reports.

Spurs had a bid for the 24-year-old Frenchman rejected last week, but are determined to get the midfielder to North London, according to the Daily Star.

Mauricio Pochettino is said to be happy to include Chadli, 25, as part of the deal, as he does not see a future for the Belgium winger at White Hart Lane.

Chadli only made the switch to Tottenham from Dutch outfit FC Twente last summer, costing the Premier League side £7m.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Spurs have agreed terms with Villarreal for their defender Mateo Musacchio.
