Premier League clubs competing for Kevin Gameiro signature?

Tottenham Hotspur are one of three sides interested in signing Atletico Madrid ace Kevin Gameiro in January, according to a report.

Three Premier League sides are reportedly in the running to sign forward Kevin Gameiro from Atletico Madrid in the winter transfer window.

The 30-year-old is said to be on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Everton, each of whom are confident of winning the race for his signature.

Gameiro has started just three games in La Liga this term, and featured a further four times from the bench, despite notching a credible 12 goals in 31 league outings in 2016-17.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Diego Costa's imminent arrival will further frustrate the Frenchman and he may be granted the opportunity to move on.

Everton and Newcastle are both in the market for a new striker ahead of the second half of the campaign, while Spurs have yet to find serious back-up to Harry Kane.
