Lazio have reportedly held negotiations regarding the purchase of Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul.
A knee injury has limited Kaboul's availability since he rejoined the North Londoners from Portsmouth in 2010 and, with just 12 months left to run on his contract at White Hart Lane, it is believed that Spurs are ready to cash in on the 28-year-old.
That has alerted Serie A outfit Lazio, who have offered their Premier League counterparts £4.8m for Kaboul's signature, according to the London Evening Standard.
However, the report added that Spurs will hold out for £6m, with further talks expected to take place later this week.
Should Kaboul move on, it has been speculated that he will be replaced by Villarreal's Mateo Musacchio.
