Nottingham Forest have taken former midfielder Jermaine Jenas on a one-month loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 29-year-old left the East Midlands outfit to join Newcastle United in 2002, where he went on to become an England international and one of the country's brightest prospects.
However, Jenas has struggled for first-team action at White Hart Lane and has seemingly been deemed surplus to requirements.
The midfielder made three appearances during a loan spell at Aston Villa last season before rupturing his Achilles.
That injury put him out for six months and he returned to Spurs.
