Harry Kane: 'We will push Leicester City all the way'

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane warns Leicester City that they will push them all the way to the end of the season in the Premier League title race.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has warned Leicester City that they will push them all the way until the end of the season in the race for the Premier League title.

Spurs closed the gap on the Foxes to five points in the latest round of fixtures courtesy of an impressive 4-0 victory away to Stoke City a day after Leicester had dropped points at home to West Ham United.

Mauricio Pochettino's side face a second consecutive Monday night game when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to White Hart Lane next week, but Kane claims that waiting for their turn to play merely increases the team's desire.

"The lads have been itching to play. Watching all the football over the weekend and having to wait until Monday night to play, gets you ready, gets you firing," he told reporters.

"Watching the games, it was a chance for us to gain some points and we've gone out there and showed what we're capable of. With more performances like that, I'm sure we'll push them all the way. All we can do is keep doing what we're doing. We've got to win all our games.

"We want to win all four of them and then we will go from there. Obviously Leicester have got some tough games coming up. They're in the driving seat. All we can do is keep winning our games."

Spurs, who are bidding for their first league title since 1961, take on Chelsea (A), Southampton (H) and Newcastle United (A) in their final three matches after Monday's meeting with West Brom.
