Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including James Ward-Prowse to West Ham United, Eden Hazard to Vancouver Whitecaps and Chuba Akpom to Lens.

West Ham United have reportedly reached an agreement with Southampton over a deal for midfielder James Ward-Prowse, who is seemingly set to move to the London Stadium.

The Englishman played in his side's Championship opener against Sheffield Wednesday last week, providing the assist for Che Adams to win it for the Saints late on.

However, it was always going to be tough for Southampton to keep hold of him following their relegation to the Championship at the end of last season.

According to The Athletic, West Ham have come to an agreement over a deal for the 28-year-old, who is expected to pen a four-year contract with David Moyes's side.

The report claims that Southampton will receive around £30m for their captain.

Ward-Prowse was in strong form for the Saints last season despite their relegation, scoring 11 goals and registering five assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard could allegedly make the move to the MLS with Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Belgium international is available on a free transfer this summer following his release from Real Madrid.

According to AS USA, Hazard has three options in terms of his next move, with Brazil and Saudi Arabia emerging as possible options for the attacker.

However, the report claims that the attacker's leading choice is a move to Vancouver Whitecaps, who finished ninth in the Western Conference last season.

Hazard had another 12 months left to run on his deal at Real Madrid, but an agreement was reached with the club to end his contract a year earlier than planned.

The 32-year-old arrived at Los Blancos in a high-profile move from Chelsea in 2019, but a disappointing spell saw him manage only seven goals and 12 assists in 76 appearances in all competitions.

Elsewhere, according to the Daily Mail, Lens have submitted an £8m bid for Middlesbrough forward Chuba Akpom.

The 27-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation this summer, having scored 28 Championship goals during a brilliant 2022-23 campaign.

Sheffield United have been heavily linked with the forward, who has less than one year left to run on his contract at the Riverside Stadium.

However, Lens have now allegedly made an £8m bid for the striker, with the Ligue 1 outfit viewing him as the perfect replacement for Lois Openda.

Boro could be forced into selling Akpom before the end of the transfer window due to his contract situation, and it is believed that they would rather move him on to a foreign club.

Akpom was an unused substitute in his side's Championship opener against Millwall last weekend, while he was not involved at all against Huddersfield Town in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
