West Ham United have reportedly come to an agreement in principle with Manchester United over the signing of central defender Harry Maguire.
The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, having only started eight Premier League matches during the 2022-23 campaign.
Maguire also recently had the Man United captain's armband taken away from him, with Bruno Fernandes confirmed as the club's skipper for the 2023-24 season.
Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag has said on more than one occasion during pre-season that he wants to keep the former Sheffield United youngster at the club this summer.
However, Maguire is again likely to struggle for action at Old Trafford in the new campaign, with Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof all ahead of him in the pecking order for the spots at the back.

West Ham have recently emerged as the favourites for Maguire, with the Hammers, who will play in the Europa League during the 2023-24 season, pushing to secure his signature.
According to Sky Sports News, David Moyes's side have come to an agreement in principle with Man United.
The report claim that the deal is worth in the region of £30m, although the exact structure of the payment needs to be finalised before a move can go through.
Maguire is said to be open to a switch to the capital outfit, with personal terms not expected to be an issue despite the defender receiving a pay rise in his Man United deal this summer following the club's qualification for the 2023-24 Champions League.

The defender featured in Sunday's pre-season clash with Athletic Bilbao, while he trained with the Red Devils on Wednesday amid the speculation surrounding his future.
Maguire made the move to Old Trafford from Leicester City in 2019, and he has represented the 20-time English champions on 175 occasions in all competitions.
The centre-back was a key player during his first three seasons at the club, but he only made 31 appearances during the 2022-23 campaign, with Ten Hag preferring other options in the middle of the defence.
Newcastle United and Everton have also been linked with Maguire, but West Ham are seemingly at the head of the queue for his signature.
Moyes's side are also being heavily linked with Maguire's teammate Scott McTominay, although the club, at this stage, are not thought to be willing to meet Man United's £40m asking price.
