Good evening all! We've got a bumper week of Champions League action, with a number of teams looking to secure their participation in Europe beyond the New Year. Juventus are safely through to the last 16 of the tournament, but standing in their way of top spot in the group are a Sevilla side with aspirations of rescuing a Europa League berth.

As I have mentioned, Juventus are already in the hat for the next round in the Champions League, but they could be pipped to top spot in Group D by Manchester City. Due to their head-to-head record against the Premier League club, they only need a draw to be entirely sure of securing a first-place finish.

Things haven't gone quite so well for Sevilla in this season's group stages, as they have no chance of getting through to the knockout rounds after four successive defeats. They are currently bottom of the group, and only a victory will see them finish in third place and claim a Europa League spot.

Should Sevilla claim all three points, then they will need to hope that Borussia Monchengladbach don't beat Manchester City in tonight's other group match. Right, the team news has been arrived for this evening's game, so let's take a look at who will be starting when the action finally begins.

Sevilla fans will be buoyed by the return of Argentine midfielder Ever Banega, who sat out the draw with Deportivo at the weekend. Yevhen Konoplyanka and Vitolo will also add firepower to the home side's attack, with former Juventus striker Fernando Llorente chosen to lead the line.

Meanwhile, Juventus have decided against resting any big names as they look to top the group. Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala have been chosen as the strike partnership in what is a familiar looking 3-5-2 formation for Massimiliano Allegri's side

Well, I'm sure that this isn't how Sevilla imagined their return to the Champions League going, after winning the Europa League for the past two seasons. They managed to win their opening match in the group, but four defeats since have seen them on the verge of slipping out of Europe altogether.

It won't be easy for the Spaniards, as last season's losing Champions League finalists Juventus are in top form after a shaky start to their Serie A title defence. They have since recovered to climb back into the top five, and a fifth successive Scudetto is looking a far more realistic prospect.

KICKOFF! We are underway at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan!

Sevilla have dominated in the early stages of the match and have seen plenty of the ball, but most of their possession has been inside their own half. They are being pushed well back by the visitors, who look as if their main threat will come on the break.

CHANCE! It's Juventus who have the first opening when a ball is swung into a crowded box. Morata rises highest to meet it and powers in a header, but his effort drops a few inches wide of the target.

CHANCE! All of the goal threat is coming from Juventus and they have another big opportunity when Morata beats the offside trap and races clear down the left. He then cuts inside and drives into the box, before firing in a low strike from a tight angle that heads narrowly wide of the far post.

Morata is giving the Sevilla defence such a hard time and it takes both of the centre backs to stop him after a lung-busting run into the box. The hosts do look very open down the flanks, and Juventus seem keen to exploit that here.

The match has just started to settle after a quite frantic opening period. Juventus are also seeing far more of the ball now and their opponents have begun to throw a few long passes into the box to try and take advantage of Llorente's height.

CHANCE! First real opening of the match for the hosts as Konoplyanka finds some space around 25 yards out from goal and fires in a powerful drive. His effort ends up drifting a few yards wide of the post, but it was nearly diverted into the net by the head of Llorente, who was inches away from connecting with the ball.

CHANCE! I can't see this game ending goalless with the quality that we have on the pitch and Juventus go close when Dybala picks the ball up just outside the box. The Argentine then takes a touch and looks to fire an effort into the bottom corner, but it flashes just wide of the far post.

CHANCE! It's Juventus again with a chance to score as Sturaro rises highest inside the box to meet Sandro's cross. He makes decent contact with the ball and looks for the corner, but Rico is across his line well to beat it away to safety.

CHANCE! Llorente would love to score against his former club and he has a chance when he receives the ball in the box after a fine Sevilla move. However, his low strike is too close to Buffon who palms the ball away, with Konoplyanka seeing his effort from the rebound blocked.

This has been such a good match to watch, even though we are yet to see any goals this evening. It's been end to end for the vast majority of the game and the tempo does not look as if it's going to drop anytime soon.

CHANCE! Juventus should be ahead as Dybala springs the offside trap to latch onto a ball over the top, before heading it into the path of Morata. The ball lands at the feet of the the Spaniard, who is just a few yards out and completely unmarked, but somehow he guides his effort wide of the post.

UPDATE! In this evening's other Group D match it is currently level between Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach. David Silva had given the Citizens the lead, but just a few minutes later Julian Korb levelled things up for the Bundesliga outfit.

SAVE! Llorente has another chance to score the opening goal this evening when he meets Konoplyanka's fine free kick in the box. The Spaniard then directs his header towards the bottom corner, but Buffon is across his line well to make the save and hold on to the ball under pressure.

It really is a great battle between Llorente and his former teammates, with the Spaniard looking strong in the air. Chiellini has been picking him up for most of the match, and the Italian wins their latest duel with an important header away after a teasing cross looking for the striker.

YELLOW CARD! Sandro picks up the first booking of the match for a late challenge on Coke in the centre of the pitch.

CHANCE! Juventus win a free kick in a promising position just outside the box, with Dybala standing over the ball. The Argentine steps up and tries to curl a strike in at the near post, but Rico reacts quickly to push the ball away to safety and keep his side on level terms.

UPDATE! Here's some bad news for supporters of Sevilla, as Monchengladbach are now leading Manchester City. Raffael has scored there with just two minutes left until half time, meaning that even a win for Sevilla in this match will still see them drop out of Europe.

That's it for the first half, where Sevilla and Juventus have headed into the break sharing a goalless draw. The scoreline doesn't reflect what has been a very watchable encounter, with both teams having plenty of chances to find the back of the net.

It is also half time at the Etihad in the match between Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach. The Germans are still winning 2-1, so they will finish third in Group D, with Sevilla propping up the table. That result is good news for Juventus, who will top the group if things stay the same for the rest of the evening.

Let's take a look at some of the other scores from across Europe this evening. Manchester United are on the verge of an early exit as they are currently losing 2-1 at Wolfsburg. Real Madrid are cruising against Malmo and are already 3-0 up, while Saul Niguez's goal has given Atletico Madrid the lead in their top-of-the-group clash with Benfica.

RESTART! Juventus take the kick off and get the second half started!

SHOT! What a goal this would have been from Pogba. After a long spell of possession from the visitors, the Frenchman receives the ball a good 35 yards out from goal, before lashing in a powerful drive that sees Rico forced to turn his effort behind.

YELLOW CARD! Sturaro is cautioned by the referee for hauling down Krychowiak, who is temporarily going off the pitch for treatment after having his hand stepped on.

Juventus are very much on top at the moment and they look full of confidence going forward. Morata is still tearing through the home side's defence, and after another powerful run he can only prod an effort straight at the keeper from a tight angle.

The scoreline at the Etihad must be a factor in the performance we are seeing from Sevilla, as they have looked flat since the break. There is still every chance that Manchester City could come back and claim the points in their match, meaning that a victory for the Spaniards here would make all the difference.

SUB! Sevilla are making their first change of the evening with Mariano coming on for Kolodziejczak.

SAVE! Buffon proves his class once again as he gets down low to save a stinging drive from Banega. The keeper is then up quickly to smother the loose ball as Konoplyanka closed in to try and follow up at the back post.

SHOT! Juventus have lost the ball cheaply on a couple of occasions in recent minutes and Konoplyanka picks up a loose pass 30 yards from goal. He is at a tight angle, but instead of trying to find a teammate he goes for goal and curls an effort well wide of the far post.

What a moment this is for Llorente, who scores against the club he left in the summer. The Spaniard gets the better of Barzagli to meet Konoplyanka's corner, before guiding a superb header beyond Buffon and into the back of the net.

While that goal is a major boost for Sevilla, it is still not enough to see them finish third and above Monchengladbach. The Spaniards need a hand from Manchester City, as a draw in that match will help them to secure a spot in the Europa League.

SUB! It's a second change for the hosts, as Krohn-Dehli comes on to replace Konoplyanka.

We are starting to see a few late challenges coming in now from both teams, with Juventus the main culprits since falling behind. The Bianconeri will feel that they have created enough to get something from the game, although there is still plenty of time left in this one.

Juventus still look a huge threat on the counter and Dybala leads a charge through the middle, before finding Morata out wide. The Spaniard then takes on a couple of players before pulling the ball back to Marchisio on the edge of the box, who ends up seeing his fierce low drive blocked before it can test the keeper.

SUB! Juventus make their first substitution as Cuadrado comes on to replace Lichtsteiner.

SUB! Llorente has made his mark for Sevilla and he seems to be limping as he makes his way off the pitch to be replaced by Gameiro.

UPDATE! A huge roar erupts inside the ground as the supporters find out the score from the Etihad, where Raheem Sterling has struck for City to grab an equaliser and make it 2-2. That goal will see Sevilla finish in third spot, as long as they hold on to their lead in the final 10 minutes.

OFF THE BAR! Sevilla's joy almost turns to despair as Dybala fires in a stunning drive that has Rico beaten, but crashes off the bar. There is also some more news to tell you about from the Etihad...

UPDATE! There has been another goal in Manchester and Raheem Sterling has grabbed his second in three minutes to give City a 3-2 lead. Once again it's great news for Sevilla, but now Juventus will be finishing second in the group unless they can score another goal.

GOAL DISALLOWED! Sevilla think that they have scored a second as Krohn-Dehli's shot is spilled by Buffon and the rebound is tucked away by Coke. However, he was clearly standing in an offside position and the goal is correctly chalked off.

CHANCE! Within a minute of Pogba seeing an effort saved by Rico, Sevilla are on the attack with Gameiro shrugging off Bonucci and getting to a long ball over the top. He is then faced one-on-one with Buffon, but his effort towards the near post goes just wide of the target.

CHANCE! The hosts are really hanging on now as Dybala curls a strike from the edge of the box narrowly wide of the far post. I think that Rico would have had it covered if it was on target, but the keeper is now down on the floor after diving to make the save.

UPDATE! This does little to change the outcomes of where each team will finish in the group, but Wilfried Bony has scored a fourth goal for Manchester City. It certainly has been a dramatic final night on the last day of this season's group stage.

There are going to be five minutes of stoppage time.

SAVE! If Sevilla manage to finish third then they will have Rico to thank for a massive save here. Morata is teed up inside the box by Cuadrado and looks odds on to score, but the keeper makes a brilliant block to turn the shot wide of the post.

The hosts are really struggling to get the ball clear, but Banega does well to skip past a couple of challenges before playing a pass down the line for N'Zonzi. The Frenchman latches onto the pass and shows his pace and power to burst down the byline and waste some vital seconds before he is finally stopped.

It's all over at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and Sevilla have held on to claim a vital win over Juventus that has secured their place in the Europa League. Things looked bleak for them at the start of the night, but a goal from Fernando Llorente coupled with Manchester City's 4-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach will give them the chance to win the tournament for a third successive season.
