Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly identified Zinedine Zidane as a potential replacement for Unai Emery.
Real Madrid endured a poor first half to the campaign - which effectively ruled the club out of contention for the La Liga title - and their form has led to Zidane being linked with an exit from the Bernabeu.
Despite Emery winning 79 of his 100 matches at the Parc des Princes, the Spaniard continues to be linked with a departure from the Ligue 1 side and according to Marca, PSG are taking an interest in Zidane.
The France legend has been described as PSG's "dream appointment" and the club are unlikely to hesitate in making an approach if the 45-year-old becomes available in the coming months.
PSG and Real are currently facing each other in the last 16 of the Champions League, with Real holding a 3-1 advantage ahead of the second leg in Paris.
