Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Paris Saint-Germain will win Ligue 1 sooner rather than later.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident that his side will win the Ligue 1 title next weekend.

PSG are currently seven points clear at the top of the league table with three more rounds of matches left this season and will take on Lyon on Sunday.

"We'll have a few suspensions to deal with in Lyon [on Sunday], but we'll have some players back too, like [Thiago] Motta and [David] Beckham," he told reporters.

"Lyon will be playing for the Champions League while we're looking to secure the title. Everyone was expecting us to win tonight [against Valenciennes]. We didn't manage it, but it won't take us long.

"I don't know whether my players are frustrated; perhaps a little. Maybe it's tougher to keep a clear head at the end of the season."

Lyon are currently third in the standings, while Marseille are second.
