Paris Saint-Germain crash out of Coupe de France

Evian TG reach the semi-finals of the Coupe de France with a penalty shootout win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain have crashed out of the Coupe de France at the quarter-final stage on penalties following a 1-1 draw with Evian TG.

Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic both missed from the spot after extra time failed to break the stalemate, sending the hosts into the last four.

Javier Pastore gave PSG an early lead, but the sides went into the break level thanks to Saber Khelifa's equaliser on the stroke of half time.

There was also woe for the visitors in extra time as Thiago Motta's red card saw them finish the evening with 10 men.

Bordeaux will join Evian in the semi-finals following their 3-2 victory over Lens.
