Half-Time Report: Oxford United and Exeter City level at break

Oxford United and Exeter City are level at half time in their League Two clash.

Oxford United and Exeter City have played out a goalless first half in their League Two encounter this evening.

Oxford started the game imposingly as Dave Kitson freed James Constable down the left, but the striker's driven cross went straight across goal with none of his teammates choosing to gamble.

Exeter played most of the opening exchanges on the counter and they looked dangerous as Liam Sercombe broke free to cross to John O'Flynn, but goalkeeper Ryan Clarke saved to keep the scores level.

Constable almost put his side into the lead heading into half time as he looked to make the most of a cross that was missed by the Exeter goalkeeper, but the ball flashed just inches past the advancing striker as the sides went into half time at 0-0.
