Ed Woodward to meet Inter Milan chiefs over Romelu Lukaku deal?

Romelu Lukaku will be the subject of talks between Manchester United and Inter Milan in the coming days, according to a report.

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will reportedly meet with Inter Milan officials later this week to discuss a transfer for Romelu Lukaku.

Inter are said to be keen on the Belgium international, who has been forced to play second fiddle to the more dynamic Marcus Rashford over the past few months.

Lukaku has admitted that he would like to move to Serie A at some point in his career and, according to The Mirror, he may be granted that switch in the coming days.

The report suggests that talks are scheduled between Woodward and Inter chiefs Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio for later this week.

United are rumoured to be demanding a fee of around £66m for Lukaku, who has scored 42 goals in 96 appearances for the club.
