Sports Mole's poll reveals that 95% of Manchester United fans want Alexis Sanchez to leave the club this summer, while a majority also want Paul Pogba out of Old Trafford.

Manchester United's dismal 2018-19 campaign came to a fitting end when they were beaten at home by relegated Cardiff City on the final day of the campaign, by which point many fans were already looking ahead to a summer of change.

The club's previously bar-setting standards were not met on or off the field, leading to calls for a major summer overhaul which could involve allowing a number of high-profile players to leave the club.

Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia have already announced that they are on their way out of Old Trafford, while the futures of a host of other players - from David de Gea and Paul Pogba to Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku - remain uncertain.

Last week Sports Mole ran a poll for United fans to vote on whether they wanted to keep or ditch every member of the United squad, and if the supporters get their wish then some big names will be on their way out of Old Trafford.

Sanchez was the man most fans want to see leave, with a whopping 95% of voters suggesting that the Chilean should be sold by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this summer.

Pogba was another high-profile casualty of the supporters' unhappiness, with only 29% wanting to keep the man who helped lead France to World Cup glory last summer while 71% voted to ditch the 26-year-old.

Even more supporters wanted Lukaku to leave, with the Belgian earning a 75% 'Ditch' vote amid speculation linking him with Inter Milan.

A huge proportion of fans also voted to ditch Phil Jones (88%), Marcos Rojo (83%), Ashley Young (84%) and Matteo Darmian (85%), while Chris Smalling (66%), Lee Grant (56%), Nemanja Matic (61%) and Eric Bailly (52%) all came down on the wrong side of the line too.

Voters were most eager to keep the likes of Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Sergio Romero, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay, although somewhat surprisingly almost a quarter of fans believe that United should ditch De Gea.

Fred earned 55% of the 'Keep' votes despite a disappointing first season at Old Trafford, while Juan Mata (58%), Anthony Martial (60%), Jesse Lingard (66%) and Andreas Pereira (68%) were also favoured by supporters.
