West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice is reportedly against the idea of joining Manchester United at this point in his career.
The 20-year-old endured an impressive breakthrough campaign at the London Stadium last season, starting 34 of West Ham's 38 matches.
Rice's form in the holding role earned him three England caps in the second half of the season and links to some heavyweight clubs, United among them.
The Independent reports that Rice has misgivings about leaving West Ham for Old Trafford, however, and he would rather wait until further down the line.
Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho is also rumoured to have turned down a move to United for similar reasons.
Daniel James became Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing last week after penning a five-year deal.
