Premier League clubs are reportedly monitoring Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood, who scored for Getafe in their 2-1 win over Almeria in La Liga last weekend.
Greenwood joined the Spanish outfit on loan from the Red Devils in September when United decided that it would be better for him to continue his career away from Old Trafford after several criminal charges brought against him were dropped.
The 22-year-old has featured 10 times in La Liga this season and has recorded two goals and three assists during his time in Spain.
After scoring over the weekend, a report from Spanish outlet AS claims that several scouts from the Premier League had been at the Estadio Coliseum to watch the England international in action.
The report adds that a permanent move away from Old Trafford remains on the cards for Greenwood, and while there is interest in him from teams in England, Getafe are increasingly keen on extending his loan term with them.
Premier League teams made no offers for the 22-year-old in the last transfer window, but it is believed that at least two Championship sides, as well as clubs from Italy and Turkey, were linked with a possible move for the attacker.
Greenwood joined Manchester United as a six-year-old, and his current contract with the Red Devils runs until 2025.
During his time in the United's first team, Greenwood scored 35 goals in 129 games after making his first appearance for the club at the age of just 17 back in 2019.
