Manchester United's Amad Diallo is reportedly set to go out on loan in the January transfer window, as the winger seeks regular first-team football.

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo is reportedly set to go out on loan in the January transfer window, to get some regular first-team football under his belt.

The 19-year-old joined the Red Devils from Atalanta in January for a fee worth around £37m, but is yet to cement his place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-team squad.

Diallo has fallen further down the pecking order, following the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho over the summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Solskjaer will decide before Christmas whether the winger will remain at Old Trafford for the rest of this season, though it is more likely that he will join another club temporarily in the winter window.

Diallo is yet to make a senior start for United, but the Ivorian managed to play for 96 minutes in the Europa League and FA Cup last season, netting his first goal for the club against FC Midtjylland in January.

This campaign, the teenager is yet to feature for Solskjaer's side in any competition and is currently ruled out for around six weeks with a thigh strain, which will see him miss Wednesday's clash against his former side Atalanta in the Champions League.
