Barcelona have reportedly lined up a move for Lyon winger Memphis Depay should Ousmane Dembele leave the club this summer.
Dembele has been increasingly linked with a loan switch to Manchester United in recent days as the Red Devils consider alternatives to their number one target Jadon Sancho.
Barcelona, meanwhile, regard Memphis as one of their top transfer targets for the remainder of the window but are unable to sign any new players without first offloading some of their current squad.
Spanish outlet AS reports that sending Dembele on loan to Old Trafford would give them the financial clout to push through a deal for Memphis, who worked under new Barca boss Ronald Koeman with Netherlands.
However, the Catalan outfit will need to work quickly in order to complete the deal, with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas insisting this week that no players will be leaving the club after Friday.
Memphis, who has just one year remaining on his contract and could be available for as little as £11.3m, has scored four goals in five appearances already this season.
