Inter Milan are desperate to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United in this summer's transfer window, according to the centre-forward's agent Federico Pastorello.
Lukaku has been strongly linked with a move to San Siro this summer, with United reportedly prepared to sell the Belgium international following a disappointing 2018-19 campaign.
According to Pastorello, Inter are going "all out" in an attempt to land the former Anderlecht youngster, but the agent, who met with the Italian side on Wednesday, has conceded that a deal is still some way off.
"It was just a chat," Pastorello told Sky in Italy. "I spoke with the director [Giuseppe Marotta] to understand the club's intentions with the player. They will take the decisions, we can't put a time frame on it.
"What is clear is that if Inter want the player, they will need to get a move on. Inter are seriously trying to sign him, they are all out for him. Goals are not always there to be reached, but it's a declared target. At the moment, it remains a complicated dream."
Lukaku joined United from Everton in the summer of 2017 and struck 27 goals in 51 appearances during a successful first season at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old struggled to reach those heights during the 2018-19 campaign, however, netting just 15 times in all competitions and losing the centre-forward role in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first XI to Marcus Rashford.
