Sports Mole looks at how Ipswich Town could line up for their Premier League trip to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Ipswich Town defender Axel Tuanzebe could return to the starting XI on his old stomping ground when the Tractor Boys go to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Tuanzebe missed the 4-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend with suspension after being sent off in the draw with Aston Villa a week earlier.

After serving that one-match ban though, Tuanzebe is available again, and could replace Ben Godfrey, who had a tough first half against Spurs, at right-back.

Manager Kieran McKenna saw more players added to their lengthening injury list, though, especially in midfield, where Kalvin Phillips and Jens Cajuste were forced off at the weekend.

Both players are doubtful for this trip to Old Trafford, with Phillips suffering with a calf issue, while Cajuste rolled his ankle late on in the 4-1 defeat.

Fortunately, Sam Morsy returned to the squad after a brief absence at the weekend and should start, while further forward, Sammie Szmodics is also back following a week on the sidelines.

With Arijanet Muric out of form and Christian Walton out for eight weeks with a groin injury, new signing Alex Palmer should continue in goal where he will hope for a similar performance to the one he showed on debut against Aston Villa, following a tough afternoon on Saturday versus Tottenham.

Elsewhere on the injury list, Wes Burns and Chiedozie Ogbene will miss the rest of the season, but Conor Chaplin could be back in time for this one after making positive strides in his recovery from a knee injury.

Brighton & Hove Albion loanee Julio Enciso will be assessed after sustaining a knee injury of his own in the past week, and it is unlikely the Paraguayan will be fit to feature here.
