Sports Mole looks ahead to Wednesday's Premier League encounter between West Ham United and Manchester United.

Victory for Manchester United against West Ham United at Upton Park on Wednesday evening will leave Sir Alex Ferguson's side just four points short of securing a 20th league title.

Recent history would suggest that they should claim the victory, having won on their last four visits to the East London-based outfit. What's more, the hosting Hammers have only managed to score two goals during those encounters.

Ferguson's team have also been in good form on the road all season. From 16 trips, they've only lost twice, winning on 12 occasions.

The Scotsman is expected to make a handful of changes to his starting lineup from the 2-0 win at Stoke City. Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley, Chris Smalling and Ryan Giggs all missed that clash and the quartet are likely to earn recalls.

Meanwhile, midfielders Jack Collison and Matt Taylor have been tipped to earn a slot in the West Ham side for the Premier League encounter.

When these sides met at the same venue in the FA Cup earlier this season, a stoppage-time goal from Robin van Persie earned Man United a 2-2 draw.
