Marcus Rashford confident Man Utd will "bounce back" from Arsenal defeat

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford is certain that the Red Devils will return to winning ways soon following their 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has said that he is confident the Red Devils will bounce back from their dampening Premier League defeat to Arsenal soon.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the game from 12 yards as Arsenal won at Old Trafford in the top flight for the first time since 2006 - just days after United had thumped Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig 5-0 on the same turf.

United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer drew heavy criticism following the defeat to the Gunners, but Rashford is certain that his side will come back stronger, in spite of the fact that United are still waiting for a Premier League win on home soil this season.

Speaking to the official Manchester United website, Rashford said: "It's been tough. Obviously, we've had a lot of big games and games we need to get points in. It's been a bit up and down but it's like that sometimes.

"Like you say, it's been an alright month but, for now, it's all about sticking together and finding a way to win games and really picking up the belief.

"We always bounce back when we don't do so well and I think it's another one of those times. We have to come together as a team, get back to the basics, and win games."

Despite their underwhelming league form, United have the chance to maintain their 100% record in the Champions League when they face off against Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday.
