Ryan Giggs: 'I want to bring the positivity back'

Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs reveals that one of his main aims is to "bring back the positivity" at Old Trafford.

Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs has revealed that he is keen to "bring the positivity back" to Old Trafford.

Giggs was installed as the club's boss on a short-term basis after David Moyes was removed from his position on Tuesday, and the Welshman has admitted that he is eager to rediscover the passion from the players at the club.

The 40-year-old told reporters: "It has been a frustrating season for everyone. You win together, you lose together.

"During these four matches, I want to bring some positivity back, bring smiles to the faces. I want to see goals and tackles, I want to get the crowd up and I want to see the passion.

"It's going to be my philosophy - Man United's philosophy. I want the players to play with passion, speed, tempo, imagination - all the things I expect of a Man United player, but most of all, enjoy it. I want to see goals, I want see tackles, I want to see players taking players on."

Giggs's first game in charge comes against Norwich City on Saturday evening.
