Preview: Liverpool vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole previews the match in the Premier League between Liverpool and Chelsea.

Liverpool host Chelsea on Sunday aware that victory over the Blues would eliminate them from the race for the Premier League title.

The Merseyside club lead Chelsea by five points with three games remaining, and a win at Anfield would take Liverpool to within four points of their first league trophy since 1990.

Manager Brendan Rodgers could recall Daniel Sturridge after the striker missed last weekend's 3-2 victory over Norwich City through injury.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is contemplating wholesale changes to his team as the club prepare for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

Experienced pair Petr Cech and John Terry are already absent through injury, while Ramires will miss the fixture through suspension.

If Mourinho decides to rest every player in contention to feature in midweek, veteran goalkeeper Hilario could take his place between the posts, while youngsters Tomas Kalas, Nathan Ake and Marco van Ginkel may feature from the start.
