Rio Ferdinand has said that Manchester United are capable of holding their nerve when it comes to the title chase.
United beat Fulham 1-0 this week to move three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
"It happens every year and at this stage of the season we know what it takes and we've got comfort in the knowledge we can create chances and remain calm," the defender said.
"You've got to hold your nerve but as important as that, if not more so, is trusting each other.
"United have the experience, City have the hunger."
United continue their race to the title away at Blackburn Rovers on Monday, April 2.
