New Manchester United signing Anthony Martial has stated that he was not concerned about the size of the transfer fee that took him to Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old striker completed his move to the Premier League side from AS Monaco on the final day of the transfer window, with the fee understood to be in the region of £36m.
"My family were definitely a bit nervous because of my high price but I'm going to stay focused on my work," Martial told Reuters.
"I'm not sure I'm worth €80m. I left for the football side. It's quite crazy for a player of my age but that's how the market works. This sum has been negotiated between the two clubs.
"I don't see myself as being under any pressure. Since I was young, people have told me I have the right characteristics to play in England."
Martial scored 14 goals in 58 appearances for Monaco.
