Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo reportedly wants to leave the club and return to Spain this summer.
The 28-year-old, who joined the Etihad outfit for an initial fee of £20.6m last summer, scored 23 goals in his debut season in the Premier League.
However, the Daily Mail reports that after drifting out of Manuel Pellegrini's starting lineup at the end of the last campaign and failing to make Spain's World Cup squad, Negredo wants to move closer to home.
Atletico Madrid are said to be among those interested in the former Sevilla man's services, but City are reluctant to allow him to leave.
