Manchester City reportedly have no intention of selling striker Alvaro Negredo this summer, despite reports that Atletico Madrid are interested in his services.
The 28-year-old has been touted as a possible replacement for Diego Costa, who is widely expected to join Chelsea this summer.
Despite reports claiming that City want around £20m for the forward, it is believed that the club have had no contact with the La Liga champions and do not want to offload the 28-year-old, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Reports in Spain have claimed that Atletico have offered £12m to City for Negredo, who scored 23 goals in 48 appearances for the Premier League champions last season.
It has been reported that the Spaniard, who moved to City from Sevilla last year, is yet to feel settled in England.
