Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov is reportedly being monitored closely by Inter Milan, with the Serbian's future at Eastlands coming under increasing scrutiny.
Kolarov has struggled for regular first-team football at the Etihad, with Gael Clichy often preferred by former manager Roberto Mancini at left-back.
The Serbian international was often used in an unfamiliar wide role or as an impact substitute by Mancini, starting just 20 Premier League matches in the last two seasons.
With new City manager Manuel Pellegrini looking to recruit new players Kolarov's situation has alerted Inter, according to talkSPORT.
The 27-year-old has experience of Serie A following a four-year stay with Lazio and is thought to be keen on a return to Italy, although no formal talks have taken place at this stage.
Kolarov cost City just under £18m in 2010 on a long-term contract, with both the Serb's wages and transfer fee a stumbling block to any hope of a move to the San Siro this summer.
