Anzhi Makhachkala could offer Carlos Tevez a late route out of Manchester City before the end of the transfer window.
The wealthy Russian club are believed to be considering a late bid for the want-away striker.
The Argentine has been looking for a move away from the Premier League leaders since falling out with coach Roberto Mancini after refusing to warm up in the game against Bayern Munich.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a whole host of European clubs and discussed moves to Inter Milan, AC Milan and PSG without an agreement being made. It was thought that Tevez would remain at the Etihad Stadium until the end of the season, but it seems that Anzhi could offer the former West Ham man a final chance to make a move.
Should Anzhi step up their interest, Tevez could potentially be offered £15m per season to partner Samuel Eto'o up front.
Tevez joined Manchester City in 2009 after spending two years at rivals Manchester United.
