AC Milan have not given up hope of signing Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez before Tuesday's deadline, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian champions had recently failed to agree terms with City for the Argentine striker.
As a result, Milan completed the signing of Maxi Lopez from Catania on a temporary basis on Friday evening.
However, AC coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that he can incorporate both Tevez and Lopez into his squad.
City are believed to want £25m for the 27-year-old, who yesterday was linked with a return to West Ham United.
