Liverpool have reportedly attempted to take Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez on loan for the rest of the season.
The Anfield club recently contacted City to try to set up a swap deal with forward Andy Carroll. However, the Blues were quick to reject the idea.
Reds manager Kenny Dalglish now wants to bring Tevez to Merseyside on a temporary basis, according to The Mirror.
Any potential agreement would see Liverpool pay the Argentine's £200,000-per-week wages until May.
