Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has played down speculation that he is about to sign Carlos Tevez.
The Argentine has been linked with a host of clubs this month, having been made available for transfer by Manchester City.
Hughes worked with Tevez during his stint at the Etihad Stadium, but the boss has ruled out the possibility of the pair reuniting.
"I would consider it all the days of the week but the likelihood of that happening is unlikely, to be perfectly honest," Hughes said of Tevez. "As much as I would love to think it could happen, I would be very surprised.
"He is very much a Man City player at this time and I think the view is he will be there until the end of the season and then he will look at his options again.
"Unfortunately, I don't think we are an option for him."
Tevez has recently seen proposed moves to AC Milan, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain fall through.
