Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Copenhagen

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League last-16 first leg with Copenhagen.

Manchester City resume the defence of their Champions League crown on Tuesday evening with a trip to face Danish champions Copenhagen in the first leg of their last-16 affair.

Pep Guardiola's men swept aside the competition in Group G to qualify for the knockout stages in first place, finishing with a 100% record from matches against RB Leipzig, Young Boys and Red Star Belgrade.

The Citizens briefly returned to the summit of the Premier League table on Saturday too, overcoming Everton 2-0 at the Etihad thanks to a brace from the rejuvenated Erling Haaland.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Copenhagen, who were runners-up in Group A behind Bayern Munich.

While the quick turnaround means that Guardiola and his staff must carefully assess every player who earned minutes on Saturday, Man City are not believed to have sustained any fresh injury woes against the Toffees, leaving the visitors with a full complement of players to pick from.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man City have no suspended players for this match, although Ruben Dias will miss the second leg at the Etihad if he picks up a yellow card on Tuesday, having been cautioned twice in the group stage.
