Former Liverpool centre-forward Robbie Fowler has reportedly been interviewed for the managerial vacancy at Macclesfield Town.
The 38-year-old had a brief stint in charge of Thai side Muangthong United a couple of years ago, but has so far not been given a managerial job back in England.
However, that could be about to change after he met the board of the Conference outfit to discuss becoming Steve King's replacement, according to BBC Sport.
The report went on to claim though that Fowler is just one of six men who are under consideration for the job, with a decision likely to be made tomorrow.
Fowler has previously had coaching spells with the MK Dons and Bury.
