Stoke City reportedly make a £5m bid for Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam.

Stoke City are understood to have made a £5m bid for Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is thought to be prepared to let the Scotland international leave Anfield after just one season.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis now hopes to complete a deal by the weekend, according to BBC Sport.

Adam joined Liverpool from Blackpool last summer for £7m.
