Rennes midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has reportedly opened talks with AS Monaco after a fee of €8m (£6.3m) was agreed for his signature.
Bakayoko had been linked with a move to Liverpool, but after the Merseyside outfit failed to make a firm offer, he now appears likely to make the switch to the principality club.
According to L'Equipe, Monaco's bid for the 19-year-old was accepted on Friday, with the player due to discuss personal terms over the weekend.
The defensive midfielder made 24 appearances during his first season in the first team at Rennes.
