Report: Rennes, Genoa in for Diego Perotti

A report claims that Sevilla midfielder Diego Perotti will have the option of joining either Rennes or Genoa this summer.

Sevilla midfielder Diego Perotti will reportedly have the option of joining either Rennes or Genoa this summer.

The Argentine international has been with Sevilla since 2007 and initially made a strong impact at the Estadio Ramon.

However, the 25-year-old fell out of favour last season and spent the second half of the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Boca Juniors.

According to Marca, Perotti favours a move to Italy, but Rennes have also joined the race.

A number of European clubs are also believed to be monitoring proceedings.
