Hearts to sign Liverpool's Michael Ngoo on loan

Hearts are in negotiations to take Liverpool's Michael Ngoo on loan until the end of the season.

The terms of the Scottish outfit's transfer embargo state that they cannot register players over 21, but the 20-year-old striker is said to be close to agreeing a deal at Tynecastle.

Jambos manager John McGlynn has already brought in Danny Wilson on loan from Liverpool and is hoping to further bolster his squad with the addition of his Reds teammate.

Ngoo is yet to make a senior appearance for Brendan Rodgers's team this season, but is a regular in the Under-21s.

The forward will be available for selection during Saturday's League Cup semi-final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle, according to Sky Sports News.
