Arsenal and Liverpool are considering summer bids for Swansea City defender Ashley Williams, according to a report.

Arsenal and Liverpool are reported to be considering summer bids for Swansea City defender Ashley Williams.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers worked with the 28-year-old during his two years at the Liberty Stadium.

Meanwhile, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is thought to have scouted the centre-back a number of times this season, according to The Mirror.

Williams signed a three-year contract extension with Swansea in October.
