Preview: Leeds United vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks ahead to Leeds United's upcoming clash with Bolton Wanderers at Elland Road, where the Yorkshire side will be attempting to beat the Trotters for the first time since 2002.

Leeds United will be aiming to record their first victory over Bolton Wanderers since 2002 when the sides meet at Elland Road on New Year's Day.

Leeds, who go into the game on the back of consecutive away defeats to Nottingham Forest and Hull City, sit ninth in the Championship table and require three points to kickstart their faltering promotion push.

Bolton are 14th, but the Lancashire outfit can climb above Leeds with a win.

Trotters boss Dougie Freedman is likely to stick with the same starting XI that helped secure an impressive 3-1 home win over Birmingham City on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Aidan White is suspended for Leeds, after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season in Saturday's loss to Hull.
